Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Borksy. We want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to help.

Returns

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:
• unused and in the same condition you received them
• in the original packaging (when applicable)
• returned with any accessories, tags, and inserts included

Certain items are not eligible for return (see “Non Returnable Items” below).

How to Start a Return

To request a return, contact us and include:
• your order number
• the item(s) you want to return
• the reason for the return
• photos if the item arrived damaged or incorrect

If your return is approved, you will receive return instructions. Please do not send items back without approval, as we may not be able to match them to your order.

Return Shipping Costs

• If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective item, or item damaged in transit), we will cover return shipping or provide a prepaid return label when available.
• If the return is for any other reason (changed mind, ordered wrong size/color, etc.), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Shipping fees paid at checkout (if any) are non refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Refund timing depends on your bank or card issuer, but typically posts within 5 to 10 business days after approval.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of:
• the item
• the packaging
• the shipping label

We will work with you on a replacement or refund depending on the situation and item availability.

Cancelations

We process orders quickly. If you need to cancel an order, contact us immediately.

If an order has already been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Non Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged/defective:
• items marked final sale or clearance
• gift cards
• items that show signs of use, wear, or damage after delivery
• personalized or custom items (if offered)

For hygiene and safety, we may also deny returns for certain pet items that cannot be resold once opened or used.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:
• check your bank account again
• contact your card issuer (posting times vary)
• contact your bank (processing time varies)
